    Before I forget,

    “In Hákonar saga góða, Snorri Sturluson describes hlautteinar (“sacrificial twigs”) being used like sprinklers to spread blood over the stallar (“altars” or “platforms”)…”

    In OE we can say “hlot-tān” or “hlot-tānas” PL
