Virtual Symbel – Online Meetup

The Online Symbel is part virtual happy hour, part solemn ritual, part Q&A session. Join us if you are able, and interact with other Ingwine Heathens from around the world!

Opening:

•Setting the Tone: The host sets a respectful and solemn tone, emphasizing the significance of the symbel in Heathen traditions.

Three Rounds of Toasts:

1.Round One: To the Gods and Goddesses

•Participants take turns toasting to the deities, sharing their dedications and reasons for the toast.

•The host may start with an example toast to set the stage.

2.Round Two: To the Ancestors

•Participants toast to their ancestors, honoring their memory and sharing personal stories or reflections.

•The host ensures everyone has the opportunity to speak, fostering a sense of community.

3.Round Three: To the Folk

•Participants toast to the Heathen community, expressing gratitude, hopes, and commitments to the group’s well-being.

•The host encourages inclusive and positive messages.

Q&A Session:

•Open Floor: Participants ask questions about Heathen practices, beliefs, and the community.

•Guided Discussion: The host moderates the discussion, ensuring everyone has a chance to speak and that the conversation remains respectful and on-topic.

Closing:
