About Me
Daniël Riezebos
Geféra
My name on this website is Daniël Zikarno. I am a Heathen from the Netherlands that has been on a long journey trying to find the root of Dutch culture.
It is this Heathen's humble opinion that Dutch culture is rooted in Germanic culture. While other layers of culture have been laid on top of that layer, I believe that the true root of my culture is found within the Germanic layer, the first and oldest one.
It is my wish is to understand that layer of my culture intimately not only by understanding my ancestors' religion with whatever means neccessary but to also live in accordance with Germanic virtues expressed by the Germanic Gods so that I may leave behind a world just a little bit better than when I came into it.
May the Gods inspire us, may our ancestors guide our ways, may our descendants judge us well and may the spirits of the land be with us as we reconstruct what needs to be reconstructed.
